Factor Racing is a not-for-profit training & racing development organization. We take sailors who have outgrown traditional coaching and give them what comes next: real boats, real regattas, real responsibility on and off the water.

OUR mission
Most sailors hit a ceiling: club programs end, coaching gets expensive, and the pathway to serious racing disappears. Factor Racing exists to remove that ceiling. Inspired by training centres like Oakcliff Sailing in the United States, we combine high-level coaching, hands-on boat work, and a full racing calendar into one program — so talented sailors can develop regardless of what they can pay.

Access
Talent and commitment decide who sails with us - not the ability to pay. Program fees are subsidized by donors and sponsors.
competition
We train to race. Sailors compete in club, regional, and national events from their first season.
seamanship
Every sailor works on the boats they race: rigging, sail repair, engines, electronics. If you can't fix it, you can't race it.
leadership
Trainees rotate through every role — helm, trim, bow, boat captain and take real responsibility for the campaign.
